EA unveils Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered

Technology

It has been teased for a long time, but now it’s official: Criterion Games has confirmed Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered in collaboration with Stellar Entertainment. The game features improved graphics and all of the main DLC, according to its creators, providing an additional six hours of gameplay and 30 challenges.

Received awards
This is Criterion’s critically acclaimed Need for Speed debut and has won the coveted Best Racing Game Award at the Game Critics Awards in 2010 and The British Academy Video Games Award for Multiplayer in 2011.

Improvements
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered includes graphic enhancements that bring the world of Seacrest County back to life. The characteristic winding roads and exotic supercars give the player a true sense of speed, according to the press release. With integrated multiplayer experience across all modes, players can play their careers alone or compete against friends to win bounties and unlock new cars, weapons and equipment.

Lots of content
The game also includes all post-release content such as fan-favorite Armed and Dangerous and Lamborghini Untamed modes. These have all been added so that you have a lot of content at your disposal. All-new performance, car colors, hard stops, a custom photo mode, and multiple quality improvements make this “the best time to return to the chase,” according to the makers.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will also receive additional content upon release.

Availability of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered

The game will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 6, and on Nintendo Switch on November 13.
