Twitter is launching its new Super Follows feature, a method the company is using to monetize tweets and provide content creators with a way to generate revenue on the platform.

The company is offering three Super Follows subscription pricing options starting at $ 2.99, $ 4.99 and $ 9.99 per month for people to “monetize the bonus content” and give exclusive access to “their most engaged Twitter followers.”

The platform announces that creators who are eligible for Super Follows will be able to keep 97% of the income until reaching the US $ 50,000 threshold, after that, it will be reduced to 80%.

Availability
For now, Super Follows will be available to a small group of content creators in the United States and Canada, who have applied. However, people can request to join the waiting list to set up monetization.

To participate it is required to have 10,000 or more followers on Twitter. The company reports that it will be rolled out globally on iOS in the coming weeks.
