US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he will hold the second summit in Vietnam at the end of February with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Summit will take place on 27-28 February. Kim and Trump met in Singapore last year. That was the first summit between the leaders of the two countries. In an annual ‘State of Union’ speech, Trump said that progress has been made in the efforts of his administration to establish peace in the Korean Peninsula.
This second trump is the ‘State of Union.’ The President said that although a lot of work has to be done now, the relationship with his North Korean leader is ‘good.’ Trump also warned about the dangers of increased stress with Pyongyang. Trump said, “If I had not been elect President of America, then I think we were in a big war situation with North Korea now.”
