Apple could create a 5G iPad with a foldable screen

Technology

After Samsung and Huawei, now Apple is interested in folding tiles. Indeed, this is what IHS Markit analysts have announced to The Economic Daily News. Apple would study a new iPad with 5G compatibility and a foldable tile, unlike its competitors.

According to analysts, the interest of this screen is to offer, once unfolded, a display surface worthy of a MacBook (about 12 inches) on an iPad while being more compact when folded. A display size much higher than the Galaxy Fold and Mate X. Knowing that the iPad Pro exists in 12.9-inch version, it seems indeed possible.

The tablet should also ship an ARM processor developed by the Cupertino company and a 5G module; however, it should not see the light until next year. In addition, as for the Galaxy Fold, the brand could have many design problems that could slow down the output of the device. This information is to be taken with tweezers since the brand Apple has not officially confirmed.
