America’s Fastest Drive-Thru Chain Is Burger King, Says Study

There are many drive-thru chains in America, and most of them have the label ‘fast food.’ It means that you are expected to wait for the minimal amount of time for the food to get delivered. However, a recent study has proven that not all drive-thru chains working at the same speed and that they are not delivering food at the same speed. If you thought that McDonalds and Chick-Fil-A are the fastest drive-thrus chains, you’re wrong. Although they are the top-selling drive-thru chains in the country, Burger King is the fastest drive-thru chain in the country, says the study.

The study had considered information regarding how much time was taken to prepare and deliver the same set of the food product. According to what the research has found out, Burger King takes just 3 minutes and 13 seconds to prepare and deliver an order of Burger King chicken fries. On the other hand, when it comes to the most popular drive-thru chains like McDonalds and Chick-A-Fil, customers have to wait for a more extended period — which may sound ironic with the fast food label. It should also be noted that, compared to other drive-thru chains, McDonald’s has probably the last position.

The study from QSR Magazine has also revealed some interesting statistics about the whole trend of drive-thru chains and fast food consumption. The research data shows that people are now ready to wait for fast food to be delivered, based on the idea that more time equates to better quality of the food. One thing to be noted here is that the hypothesis here is relative. Even the slowest drive-thru chain as per the survey has been delivering the products in a time less than five minutes, which is impressive, considering that many outlets take 10 to 15 minutes for a single delivery.
