Finnish company HMD Global, which manufactures and markets Nokia’s brand, has decided to launch two smartphones in partnership with Verizon and Cricket Wireless in the US. Both are Android phones available in the US – Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 2V.
9to5Google’s Friday report, quoted by Maurizio Angelo, Vice President of American Market of HMD Global, “Since two years ago, we are committed to providing reliable and durable Nokia phones with a purposeful and distinctive design globally.”
He said, “Thanks to the fantastic consumer response, we are now proud of the situation where we can expand our footprint in partnership with North America’s largest wireless service providers.”
Available on Verizon, the Nokia 2V has a 5.5-inch HD screen, an 8-megapixel AF with a rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, 8 GB internal storage and a 4,000 mAh battery.
Nokia 3.1 Plus will be available on Cricket Wireless, which includes five Snapdragon 439 chipset with 5 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage.
It has six-inch HD Plus 18: 9 display, 13 megapixel plus 5-megapixel rear camera setup and 8-megapixel selfie camera.
