Marion Barber, former Dallas Cowboys player, dies age of 38

Marion Barber, a former Dallas Cowboys running back, died Wednesday at the age of 38.

At the moment the cause of the death of the former NFL player is unknown, the Frisco police found him in his house.

The Cowboys were responsible for reporting Barber’s death.

“Marion was an old-school, strong player who ran with the will to win every attempt. He had a passion for the game and love for his coaches and teammates,” the franchise released in a statement.

Barber spent six seasons with the team, he was selected in the fourth round of the 2005 draft, fans nicknamed him “Marion the Barbarian”, after being part of Dallas he went on to play with the Chicago Bears, a team where he concluded his career in 2011.

Marion finished his time on the field registering 4,780 rushing yards and 53 rushing touchdowns of which 47 were the Cowboys.
