Recently launched Massachusetts system taps 2 executives

Lawrence, Mass.-based Merrimack Health has named Visael “Bobby” Rodriguez as CHRO and Maria Gudinas as chief development officer.

Mr. Rodriguez brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources, culture and workforce strategy in large-scale healthcare organizations, according to an April 14 health system news release shared with Becker’s. He most recently served as vice president of human resources, culture, belonging and community impact at Cincinnati Children’s.

Ms. Gudinas brings more than 25 years of experience building philanthropic programs within mission-driven organizations. She most recently served as chief development officer at AgeSpan, a Lawrence, Mass.-based agency on aging.

In their new roles, Mr. Rodriguez will oversee workforce strategy and employee engagement, and Ms. Gudinas will lead donor relationships and community partnerships across the health system.

Merrimack Health was launched in September, comprising Lawrence General Hospital and its two Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill, Mass., and Methuen, Mass.
