Northwestern Medicine and Techstars have selected five startups for the 2026 class of their healthcare accelerator program.
The early-stage companies will participate in a 13-week, mentorship-driven program hosted at Northwestern Medicine’s Mansueto Innovation Institute in Chicago, according to a March 16 news release from the health system. The accelerator, now in its second year, focuses on scaling innovation in clinical care, digital health, therapeutics and AI. Demo Day will take place in early June.
The selected companies include a digital platform focused on cancer survivorship care, a clinical compliance tool using AI to ensure real-time protocol adherence and a mental health therapeutics startup developing video game-based interventions for depression. Others are working to advance proteomics for biopharma development and expand access to AI-powered digital pathology.
