MyMichigan Health taps COO, advances leadership plan: 5 things to know

Midland, Mich.-based MyMichigan Health is rolling out additional changes to its executive and medical center leadership structure aimed at strengthening coordination and care delivery.

Five things to know from a Feb. 4 news release:

1. Hunter Nostrant, president of MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena, will transition to the role of COO for MyMichigan Health, effective March 1. He has served in his current role since 2024.

2. Chuck Sherwin was named market president for MyMichigan Medical Centers located in Alma, Clare, Midland and Mt. Pleasant following the retirement of Marita Hattem-Schiffman on Feb. 1.

3. Mike Erickson will transition to the role of market president for MyMichigan Medical Centers in Alpena, Saginaw, Standish, Tawas and Towne Centre, effective March 1.

4. Ray Stover, president of MyMichigan Medical Centers in Gladwin and West Branch, and Kevin Kalchik, president of MyMichigan Medical Center Sault, will remain in their current roles.

5. The changes build on a leadership transition MyMichigan Health announced in December to centralize leadership and align operations across multiple medical centers.
