Adventist Health hospital president retires

John Raffoul has retired as president of Adventist Health White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, effective March 31.

Mr. Raffoul spent 42 years in healthcare, including 36 years at Adventist Health White Memorial, he wrote in an April 14 LinkedIn post.

Under his leadership, Adventist Health White Memorial built a new hospital, acquired another and received the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, he wrote.

Mr. Raffoul was named president in March 2015. He joined the hospital in 1992 as executive vice president and CFO and was named COO in 2014, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Adventist Health White Memorial is a 353-bed teaching hospital.
