Brad Reimer has been named chief technology and digital officer of Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health.
Mr. Reimer most recently served as CIO of the 58-hospital system for nearly four years.
“This isn’t a title change for the sake of a title,” he posted April 3 on LinkedIn. “It reflects a deliberate shift in focus — from running technology to transforming how technology and digital capabilities drive care, access, scale, and differentiation in rural healthcare.”
His priorities will include advancing digital and AI-enabled care to improve the patient and clinician experience and leveraging agentic platforms to drive value across the organization. He reports to Tommy Ibrahim, MD, executive vice president and chief transformation officer.
