RWJBarnabas Health secures naming rights for Red Bull training facility

West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health has entered a partnership with Red Bull New York that places the health system at the center of the club’s training operations, medical care and community outreach.

RWJBarnabas Health will hold naming rights to Red Bull New York’s new performance center, scheduled to open in March 2026 in Morris Township, N.J., according to a Jan. 13 news release. The facility will be named the RWJBarnabas Health Red Bulls Performance Center.

As part of the agreement, the health system will serve as the official hometown healthcare provider and emergency medical services partner for Red Bull New York, its second team, academy and youth programs, as well as Sports Illustrated Stadium, the release said.

RWJBarnabas Health will deliver medical services to players and staff, including physicals, imaging, rehabilitation and injury prevention. Gerardo Chiricolo, MD, will serve as chief medical officer and work alongside the club’s training and athlete care teams.

The 80-acre performance center will feature eight outdoor soccer fields and a central facility with gyms, nutrition spaces, academic areas for youth players, and a medical suite focused on preparation, rehabilitation and recovery. It will serve as the training base for Red Bull New York, Red Bulls II and the organization’s academy and youth programs.

The partnership also includes RWJBarnabas Health branding on training apparel, preseason sponsorship and activations at home matches.

RWJBarnabas Health and Red Bull New York will also collaborate on community and patient engagement initiatives, including health and wellness education for families involved in New Jersey-based youth soccer programs and experiential opportunities for patients.
