Morgantown, W.Va.-based Mon Health is transitioning its hospital and clinic signage to Vandalia Health, reflecting the branding of its parent health system.
Mon Health merged with Charleston (W.Va.) Area Medical Center in 2022 to create Vandalia, which is headquartered in Charleston. The rebranding process, which also includes patient-facing materials, will take several months.
“Our new signage is a visible representation of the progress we’ve made since forming Vandalia Health in 2022,” said David Goldberg, president and CEO of Vandalia Health’s Northern region and executive vice president of Vandalia Health, in a Jan. 22 news release. “It reflects our shared commitment and the important work we’ve been doing to invest in local care, strengthen connections across our hospitals and clinics, and deliver a consistent, quality experience for patients and families throughout our communities.”
The new hospital names are Vandalia Health Mon Medical Center in Morgantown, Vandalia Health Mon Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, Vandalia Health Mon Marion Neighborhood Hospital in White Hall and Vandalia Health Mon Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston.
Charleston Area Medical Center is undergoing a similar transition, while Elkins, W.Va.-based Davis Health System, which joined Vandalia in 2023, has already completed the process.
