Methodist Hospitals’ new CFO returns after 20 years

James Mack is returning to Gary, Ind.-based Methodist Hospitals as vice president and CFO after departing the system 20 years ago. 

Mr. Mack served as controller at the hospital from 1987 until 2006, according to a Jan. 23 news release shared with Becker’s. He has served as president of finance at Chicago-based St. Anthony Hospital since 2016. 

His past experience also includes senior leadership roles at Sinai Chicago and Pinnacle Hospital in Crown Point, Ind., according to the release.   

“We are gratified that Jamie has returned to the Methodist family and are confident that he will make important contributions to our goal to remain a successful, independent health system focused solely on Northwest Indiana, and to our mission to provide high-quality healthcare to all those in need,” Methodist Hospitals President & CEO Matt Doyle said in the release.
