Florida hospital CEO to exit for Beacon role

Press Release

Lauren Faison-Clark, CEO of Doctors’ Memorial Hospital in Perry, Fla., will leave her role at the end of May to assume a leadership position with South Bend, Ind.-based Beacon Health System.

Ms. Faison-Clark has served as CEO of the hospital for more than two years, before which she spent almost a decade on its board of directors, according to an April 7 hospital release shared with Becker’s.

During her tenure, she led the hospital through multiple hurricane events in a single year while maintaining operations and access to care. She also advanced investments to support infrastructure, reliability and long-term growth.

She also oversaw the development and expansion of DMH Express Care, a walk-in clinic on the hospital’s ground floor, which recorded more than 5,000 visits in its first full year, and supported emergency department upgrades and expanded pediatric and specialty services.

The hospital’s leadership team will oversee operations as the board begins forming a search committee to identify the next CEO, the release said.
