U of California Health creates leadership role for partnerships

Oakland, Calif.-based University of California Health has created a new leadership role for partnerships.

Erica Murray, president and CEO of the California Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems, has been appointed UC Health’s inaugural associate vice president of strategic partnerships, effective April 20, according to a March 17 LinkedIn post from the health system.

The new role will help UC Health navigate the evolving public payer landscape to strengthen partnerships across the system’s six academic health centers, as well as its clinics and federally qualified health centers, the system said.

Ms. Murray has been with the California Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems for 21 years and has served in her current role since 2013, according to her LinkedIn profile.
