Nvidia is expanding its open AI model ecosystem to support healthcare and life sciences use cases, including drug discovery and biomedical research.
The effort includes continued development of the company’s BioNeMo and Clara model families, which support applications such as biological research, molecular modeling and medical imaging, according to a March 16 news release.
BioNeMo provides pretrained models and tools that help researchers analyze biological data, model proteins and design potential drug compounds, with the goal of accelerating pharmaceutical discovery and development.
Clara includes AI tools and models for healthcare applications such as medical imaging, digital pathology and genomics, enabling organizations to build and deploy AI-driven clinical and research workflows.
