Laura Kowal has been appointed president of Wilmington, Del.-based Nemours Children’s Health, Delaware Valley.
Ms. Kowal has served as interim Delaware Valley president since July and as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary since 2020, according to a March 24 health system news release. She joined Nemours Children’s in 2014.
Before joining the health system, she practiced health law and worked as a physical therapist and certified wound care specialist for 12 years.
Nemours Children’s Health is a multistate pediatric system with two freestanding children’s hospitals and more than 70 primary and specialty care practices.
