Former American Medical Association President Jesse Ehrenfeld, MD, has been named chief medical officer of Aidoc, a company that develops AI-based systems to analyze medical images and identify acute abnormalities.
In this role, Dr. Ehrenfeld will support health systems as they transition from adopting individual point solutions to a comprehensive clinical AI strategy, according to a Jan. 7 news release.
According to his LinkedIn, Dr. Ehrenfeld served as AMA president from 2023 to 2024.
